Desert Hills I (DH1) is a 55+ community located in southwest Green Valley, AZ. It is located off of W Camino Encanto between S Camino Del Sol and the I-19 West Frontage Road.
The community consists of 45 townhomes (2 Bedroom & 2 Bath) and many of them back up to an arroyo/wash and have fantastic mountain views.
The townhomes range in size from 929 sf to approximately 1,711 sf.
The 45 townhomes were built in the following years: 1978 (10 townhomes), 1980 (5), 1982 (5), 1994 (12) and 1995 (13).
All of the townhomes have 1 or 2 stall carports or garages.
At the time of this writing (July 2023), the DH1 HOA does not have a website, so I can’t provide a link to one.
GVR (Green Valley Recreation) membership is required on all of the homes in DH1.
GVR’s Desert Hills Center is located nearby.
Desert Hills Golf Club (Green Valley’s only private golf club) is just north of the DH1 community.
The Arid Garden is located within the DH1 community.
